the boy we pretend we aren’t looking for as we make our way to class, the boy we lie about and claim not to care about anymore. he’s the one we dress up for, even if we only hope to run into him, the we think about during all the love songs. the one we dream about and wake up disappointed that it wasn’t real. the one we try and fail to forget about and the one who never leaves our mind, even when we’ve got a million other things to think about.
he’s not the one, but he’s the one who’ll always have a place in our hearts.
